Championship Fight Card Postponed From 18 June 2016 to 20 August 2016
(Atlanta, Georgia, USA) (14 June 2016)- Theresa Pearman, President of Sports Moose Productions, Inc. and Don “Moose” Lewis, President of the World Boxing Union, Inc., known as "the WBU", jointly announce that the WBU Championship Fight Card “Ring Night Returns!” at Sugar Creek Casino in Hinton, Oklahoma has been postponed from 18 June 2016 to 20 August 2016. States Ms. Pearman “With this weekend being Father’s Day and the recent tragedy in Orlando, all parties agreed to postpone the event in order to implement more stringent security measures to increase safety for participants as well as the fans attending. State of the art ticket scanners to eliminate counterfeiting and hand wands are being brought in part of the new security measures. Also ticket holders must have on their persons a government issued identification card that matches up with their ticket registration. We have been asked to not give further details out on the security features. All tickets purchased for this weekend will be honored with the same seating.” Mr. Lewis further adds that there will be an additional WBU title feature attraction forthcoming on the card that will surely please all in attendance.

Rising Baltimore-bred boxer Yahu "Rock" Blackwell is slated to make his TV debut this summer in a fight for the WBU cruiser weight title.

Yahu "Rock" Blackwell is undertaking the biggest test of his young career, when he make's his television debut on June 18th, 2016 fighting for the WBU America's Cruiser weight championship. The 29-year-old from Baltimore has returned to the ABC and is now on the journey to becoming the WBU and IBU undisputed cruiser weight world champion.

Blackwell is currently training for his next fight on June 18th, 2016 where he will be on the world stage competing for a WBU America's Cruiser weight title. His latest training is meant to push him past his current limitations and take him to a whole new level. These are extensive sparring sessions where Blackwell is taking on 4-5 different sparring partners insuring that each one coming in is fresh and ready to take him on. These bouts are lasting 8-10 rounds where he is consistently pushing his limits and insuring that each fighter is at their best before taking him on.

Baltimore, Maryland - Hometown of WBU and IBU ranked boxer Yahu Blackwell, has seen an increase in crime and homeless in the last decade. Although Blackwell continues to focus his energy on perfecting his craft, he refused to turn his back on the City that he proudly calls "home".

Boxing star Yahu Blackwell was born in 1986 in Baltimore, Maryland, where his life was soon marked by a turbulent beginning. His father left the family soon after his birth, so the responsibility for his upbringing fell on the shoulders of his mother, Sandra. Considering that the area in which they lived was pretty tough, Blackwell had to develop the ability to look after himself at an early age. “Baltimore is a very dangerous city and we had very little money and resources, so growing up was pretty rough,” he recalls.

Washington, D.C., USA - Bobby Gunn, Jr. -son of the Celtic Warrior and multiple world champion Bobby Gunn, Sr. captured his first world title by defeating Sean Lockhart by unanimous decision in six (6) rounds-knocking Lockhart down in round 4. Gunn Jr. moves to 5-0 with 4 KO's and becomes the WBU Welterweight World Youth Champion and catapults into the WBU world ratings. Congratulations!
